Mazda TD 2.5 Bravo?

I'm looking at 4WD's and have seen and driven some Bravo turbo diesels. Has any one got one or knows anything about them?

mate had one as company car when he owned a timber yard.I think it was a 2000 or maybe 1999 model and the gearbox jammed in fifth gear .....and when we eventually got it off the beach it needed new clutch and mazda said we damaged the turbo and motor as it was very smokie after that...repairs came to $5k mazda footed the bill it was 1 year old with 50000km but apart from that it was allright.it was a trayback too

Mate of mine has one. Been a good honest unit from what I can tell. Had torsion bars replaced under warranty. No idea if it ws a recall or they were dodgy. Towed my boat up to Hinchinbrook a couple of years back with it - went like a dream. Pulled away from a 80 series cruiser going up the Cardwell range.
