can any of you guys explain what the" second start" mode button does please?? and what application it is used for?? have looked in the handbook but it does not explain its function?? not really clued up on 4x4,s as you have probaly guessed ;D thanks for your help.

It is for locking out 1st gear when first taking off from a stationery position so that you can gradually apply power to the drive wheels particularly in slippery conditions ie snow and mud.
