I have heard of late that Bribie has been copping a hiding and the surf beach is not much to speak of.

Is this so?

Also, is attacking the track to Poverty Point/Bay/Beach worth the trip? I have heard there is "Quick Sand" around there???

If there is Beach on the surf side, are there any recent fishing reports?

I know I am asking a lot but I want to have an enjoyable day with the wife and squids!

Cheers

The brother went to Bribie and said the track and beach were fine.

The best trip would be low tide along the beach as all ways.
It does get chopped up a bit at times but u can still get up the beach even on the soft stuff. Fishing was a little quiet besides dart ,flatties. There were tailor swimming in the gutters straight in front of us but even dropping bait or lures right in front of them didn't work, just were not feeding.
Good luck all ways a good day or weekend trip. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
