i went to cape york ist week in september and caught lots of fish from gt't to queenies to longtail tuna to barra to queensland groper etc.caught some good gt's at the tip of york.all fish were released

hi MJ

no i did most of my fishing on a 5 metre cairns custom boat.i fished land base for 2 days(fly point and the tip).other than that i fished possession island,qoin island,steep pt mostly.rivers i fished the right hand side finger of the jardine river and the jacky jacky

hi fritzy

i fished in cape york feb and sep this year and those are the only poppers i use.you just cast and wind and they come in different sizes.got some from doug burt and anglers warehouse.they are nice and cheap so its not a problem if you get sharked.

beautiful fish those groper top work mate very jealous

brad showed me those poppers u were using they look so simple and tuff but the results are there well done

what kind of poppers were you using for the queen fish and the GT?

hi chemmy,got the poppers from doug burt.poppers made from teflon,hard non breakable and work very well.cheap as well.
