woke up at 1.00 to pooring rain, we had allready made the call to head out and the weather report still looked ok. we arrived at the ramp at 2.45 and got on the move out to some ground we had been wanting to try for some time, the conditions were magic.
we arrived at the new spot just as the sun was poking its head up, after sounding the bottom for 15 minutes we found a good show of fish and had a drift over them, straight away a double hook up on pearly's, we decided to anchor up and the day got better from that point, this ground will definately be revisited.[img]

Beefa,
Thats a great catch and sounder shot. Can you please tell me how you had your sounder set up to get that zoom, depth range? I have an idea but from that shot it looks like you have it down pat ;)

Thanks, Tiga.

Man conditions look great out there. Great reading guys. How does the new lowrance sounders go. Im still using an old X70 black and white. Are they worth the money?

I have had no problems, so far it seems very good but I have only had lowrance so cant compare to anything else, I believe there price has come down

Geez Beefa, I'm surprised you were going slow enough for a dolphin to keep up with you #;)

Regards,
Dave.
