headed out in the bay.. weather conditions quite undesirable until surprisingly wind dropped off during the day. Beacons produced couple of nice sized mackeral... tuna schools EVERYWHERE!! saw some huge schools, but it was impossible to track... feeding on ridiculosly sized bait so get those 30 grms or less out....

MAckeral bit slow any other reports as to their whereabouts??? ALso saw alot of kingies hanging off the beacons impossible to catch be it livies, sp's lures, pillies????

Yhe the kingies have been all over the beacons the last few weeks ....we have been getting them on small SP's - 3" power baits .

What kind of tuna were busting up ? any size to them ?

Went out on Monday as well - Tuna around the 4 beacons were very small. Saw 1 school of spotties that disappeared very quickly. Pulled a 12 kilo longtail from a beacon on a live herring.
