Well, we crossed the bar at day light today and headed to Palmy. Currumbin bar is as good as it has very been. There was about 20-25kts of wind and very lumpy. Had a few mates from out west that were very keen for a fish so we pushed out.

Trolled pillies for about two hours with one half hit, but that was it. There was bait in close where the divers normally are, but nothing chopping them up. Threw a few slugs with no success. Ended up coming back in by 7am. Didn't see any one connect with a fish.

We need a big southerly to come through and blow the clean water back in.

Slow morning, bad weather and on fish...... #

Hopefully the weather gets better during the next week for the holiday season.

Cheers

Dom

As much as every one knocks currumbin bar it is as safe as you make it.
If you dont know it can be tricky.
Bad luck trolling fellas, my bro in law was out the other weekend and caught a feed by floatlining with just the pilly to sink down. No float on the line.
