headed out over the bar about 7:30am. couldnt really call it a bar crossing when we went over at 25knots. havent seen the ocean ever as galssy and heve no swell, awsome morning. we headed straght to currumundi reef. mac tuna and bait everywhere, bait schools going off, bout 300 - 400 meters offshore. tried everything, flicking small slugs, poppers dead baits. all we got was half a pilly back with a hook missing off my gangs. oh well dropped the pick. in 3 hrs all me managed was 1 undersized spottie mac, 1 sweetlip (just legal), and 3 yakkas hitting pillys on our floating rigs. oh well, beautiful day anyway always good to get out hopfully better luck next time.
