Have been getting a few of these but would like to know when they are at there best. I have been chasing them off Mooloolabah with mixed results. Have lost a few lures and would you believe a rod. Has anyone found a M10 with a Shimano TLD20 attached near the the Inner Gneerings? A reward ts offered. How long does the season last for these critters? Tight Lines Mighty Quin.

not sure here bloke but in north n.s.w the real large suckers tend to be a early winter tactic with smaller fish @ in the warmer monthes. lost rod i believe that have been buckled over the transome lossing 300 plus meters easy on the big buggers you will know when a fish of 40 kilo plus has scoffed your livey you will be calling world class fish on the first run.
