Was lucky enough to be out for a few days in the middle of a hot blue marlin bite off mooloolaba.
then had a charter yesterday on inside edge, got some great pearlies and then found a patch of mahi mahi on the run home. a great few days on the water.

tagged, healthy and ready for release. average size of the fish out there was 120-150kg.

Excellent pic presentation...
Question is those dollies on fishing line in the air, I could not see any lines on pic... prehaps time for me to go eye test ;D

yeah silent, they are all hooked up, fishing with bream gear (light braid) so the camera just didnt pick it up.

Picture below is a screen shot of my desktop.
Whenever I think "what the hell am I doing this job for out here in the middle of hell itself",
all I have to do is flick over and just look at that moment you captured on film. If you have copyright issues with others putting your pictures on their desktops then I will gladly remove it.
In any case, gotta get back to the grinding stone.

Very jealous I can't get pics like that. Mind you I have never been surrounded by dollies on a sea that perfect. It just made me wanna go fishing!

Wow....absolutely amazing photography!!!!.......very impressive....... have you ever tried checking out www.pbase.com ..... good website for photography enthusiast.......what lense were you using with your camera?? coz you might agree or not agree but a good camera without a good lense will not take photos as well ...... you were fishing with bream gear for the mahi mahi....dont tell me the marlin was pulled using bream gear aswell......hahahaha imagine pulling that monster with bream gear...... i dont think it could be done?????? hahahahha ;) or could it/????? :o
