Had a bit of a look around this morning out off Cairns eventhough conditions were set to deteriorate by midday. Unfortunately a few basic things went wrong such as the main bait supply being left at home (my bad ::)). However we got some pillies and hoped for the best. Thankfully the fish cooperated with three spaniards landed. Its always good to get your target species. It was a funny day with some pretty basic errors costing at least two hookups. When it finally blew up it became a bit comical fumbling around with tangled bait jigs, anchor ropes, and rampaging fish. A fun day anyway.
