Headed out late on Friday morning, first stop was the twelve mile, not a lot of action so moved on to the south eastern Rock Cod shoal.
Mainly drifted the deeper rubble and fern ground and found quality red throat, parrot, big grassies and some snodger red emperor, some being lost to shark. bummer. No coral trout for us on this trip.
Totally glassed out conditions, came in with a full esky and sore back. You got to lov that after so much bad weather recently.
No time for photo's, that's what my fello fishing buddies replied.

Sounds like a top trip. Any Spaniards about?

Spaniards moved under the boat throughout the day, to busy bottom bashing to give them any mind.
Not only that, the crew would have thrown me overboard for disturbing their action.
Spaniards are a great fish to catch but I personally don't like there eating quality, I like trout and such like. Better to leave them for some who appreciates them more.
