We got to mooloolaba harbour at 2.30pm wed
arrived at banks just after 3.45found a friend and then looked around
only to find sounder not working properly. by dark we still had no fish
this has never happened to me before.1st strike a snapper comes in so i thought this is it ,what a fissler it turned out to be then we got a mother in law fish.we heard a yell out there some asking us if we were getting any fish ,it turned out to b lucyloo had a chat and decided to call it a day we then both headed home in great conditions taking 1hr to get back to ramp
To cap things off my mates misses got a house call from police saying he was missing apperently coast guard did not receive our message to say we were back in harbour
hope to catch more next time

cheers pete

Pete.

Might as well get used to catching less fish at the reefs. The size of some of the catches I see coming back for "Friends.. neighbours.. etc, it's only a matter of time before most of these fish will vanish. Some people think because they have paid big money for boat, fuel, rods etc, it's their God given right the take everything they catch. Same with the absolute waste of water running down the drains at the ramps. We will only really learn when there's nothing left.
