Headed out in sem glassy conditions to the Northern Ledges. Fishing was slow and in the first hour or two we had only added a few squire and parrot to the esky. Moved to a mark we had on dusk and started to put a few more into the esky. We then moved into the central banks, anchored dispersed the burley and waited. We caugh a couple of moses well over 45 cm and finished off the snapper bag. I pulled my pb maori cod from the shallow country and it was measure to be 58cm ? All in all was a nice trip with a good ride home.

Gudday vertico, spoke to you briefly on radio yesterday- wasnt it flat out there yesterday! I stayed in the shallow stuff (34 -40)on the NE side, they were quiet, 10 x 2-3.5kg squire, a few mouri, moses, parrot and smallish perlies and 2x reds (~650mm) still a great comfortable trip, I need to experienment a bit in coming times - only started fishing banks again after a long break due to different boats. might have a look down south in the deeper stuff when wind slows up

Nice pics and a great feed Sean. Don't think we will be getting conditions anything like that this weekend. That's a beaut maori cod, looking at the way you are holding it, you avoided the situation I found myself in when I held one up for the camera and inserted a few fingers (without even thinking) right in amongst the gill rakers :'( :'( Don't they bring tears to the eyes trying to extract some lacerated fingers.

Cheers
Paul

Doesn't seem to baron Sean. Nice feed you have got. Were most snapper on the floaters?

Seem to be plenty of snapper at the moment.

Cheers
