Decided to take advantage of perfect conditions and blow a days work and take my family off shore chasing a feed of fish. Hit the boyne boat ramp at 6:30 eager to head to marks we had not fished. Arrived at mark 1 and sounded arround till we found some small shows of bait fish, baits went down and within 5 mins my 12 year old son hooked up on something big and 10 mins later we seen a large red coming our way. This being the fist red in our boat we were very excited. Then next 10 mins we hooked up on more reds only landing 1 which was bittin' in half by a noa. Great fun :). Reds went off the bite and some parrot and grassys kept us entertained. My no. 3 boy who is only 3 landed his first legal fish. Nothing like seeing kids enjoying this great healthy sport! :)

Thanx to perko 4 these good marks!!

Some nice fish, shame about the halof red. Good to see the family getting out there & enjoying it, that's what it's all about.
There's certainly been some great weather for it over the last week. Just hope it stays around for a while now.

Congratulations CJ. That is an awesome fish. Also good to see your old man had the sense to keep his mug out of the photos.

Nothing like a day out on the water, especially when you can do it in central Queenslands's great barrier reef lagoon.
Very nice catch, I hope your not fishing the Hookup comp with the whole family, that nanny might take some beating.
All the best,
John.

Proves that fishing can really be a family thing given a bit of effort, top shelf mate.
