hay fishos i am 13 yrs old and i whent out on my kayak the other day with my friend and we landed 3 tunas a blue fin 8.6kg and 2 macs 5 kg, but the best thing was when we trolled bac my bait runner started to scream like i have never seen it go before. i waqs running 30lb tuna terror braid and for that not to stop running, i was fighting the fish for about 15 mins and adventurely sore coloure and this is what it produced ...................

Awesome report and pics they are some massive fish to be catching in kayaks. Gotta be careful that the kayaks don't capsize in the middle of playing a fish or do you have those floats on the side of the kayak so that you don't capsize when you lean to one side of the kayak.

The vikings are a very stable kayak, I've got an esprit, great little rig. Awesome fish there m8, those spotties look great, bet they were heaps of fun to catch too. i got the spottie in the kayak and the tuna on a 4.1 m boat wif a 25 hp on it same spot but in the arvo wif the boat

you should see us in the river to reef fihing classsic i took it out the first year with a 8.6 kg snapper and i beat the seniors

Anyway weather it was a kayak or boat, catching those fish is still great fun and an excellent effort!
