Maritimo sea trial and photo shoot I think. 1/2 hour of this, imagine the fuel cost. Chimo what boat were you in?

G'Day Flick

I was in a Seafarer Vagabond, but throwing lots less water and taking photos with the new Fuji while driving.

You ought to see the shots with the boat totally out of frame!!! was working at 10 x optical zoom tho.

There was a 40 foot sports cruiser taking shots of it, looked tiny in comparison. My first reaction was rich bastards to but hey, if you got the $$$$$. Last shot looks great. Good to see one getting a hiding and not going from marina mirage to wavebreak and back.

Chimo,

Good to see the camera is working for you some good shots, the zoom is pretty good for a camera in that price range.

Have fun

Howard.

PS

Long over due for a trip down the coast, I will keep it touch it would be good to catch up with you. Likewise if you are coming our way give me a bell, could maybe organise catching that cod.

I was happy with the price and the lense, would have been happier to have been able to keep the flying boat in frame but at 10 optical and in the moving boat while driving things worked out well enough. Thought it was a whale when first saw it in the distance.

At least I can now ditch the missed shots without paying to have them developed first. Those shots were just on auto too, yea Fuji S5600.

Yours sounds like a good plan, both ways!
