Headed out wide of mooloolaba sat lunch time, for a quick session to make use of the perfect conditons and the moon.
We were hopeing to hit the double bag and return at a reasonable hour. With a light onshore ,offshore breeze we headed away from the parking lot to a secluded piece of real estate.
It wasnt long before we were turning reels and smokeing drags with both pearlies and snapper coming on board.Best snapper was to 6kg.We managed a couple of other species for a little variety.
We were smoked by several sharks just on dark but still managed a good feed of fine quality reef fish. This weeks sempre crew included Sam the skipper,Regan the red,Al the apprentice and myself.
Cheers Until next time Michael :) ;) ;D

Yeh , Ben , next time might have to wider , the boats seem to be getting closer and when people ,who should know better come screaming past at 30 mph , 50m off the side pushing the save button on the plotter , it really makes you happy .
We all know what that does to a good bite !!!

Well done again Team Sempre, good fish. The ethics of some blokes doin the gps fly by's really peaves me and I even had one bloke stop and ask me what I was catching! >:(

Well done Michael and Team Sempre. Pity about the blow flies...bloody inconsiderate really. It's a big enough ocean out there for everyone...is there nothing sacred anymore?
Cheers on a top catch
Paul ;)
