i fished the close stuff today for my bag limit of squire (5) i got them just after day break on floaters . had a small problem i could not get any bait from shell mooloolaba sold out but i did have a 1kg bag of thawed pillies and some massive pillies of one of the longliners. but the fish were shy of the large pillies only got hits on the small ones . i took a photo of my furuno sounder showing the squire and small bommie

a fcv 600l it is a top unit grate at all speeds and conditions

Good to here someone can catch fish at Murphies. Were they legal?

i was about 3 miles to the north west of the river nowere near murphys and thay were all about 1to 2 kgs
