Hit the water around 430pm yesty arv and headed for the mid banks i think, was my debut to fish them. Not to bad of a run out with a pretty solid swell running with a bit of chop on top. Headed for a general banks mark that we retrieved off the net and just started sounding around cause thats all we had. Stayed in the 30-50 meter areas for 4 pearly's, 1 moses pearch and a few other assorted reefies. Searched a lot of area and decided to pull up stumps for night on spot x and the fish were far and few betwwen with a lot of undersize stuff. Around seven this morning we were into some good quality squirey snapper with six keepers. They went off the chew around eight thirty then we were plagued by undersize pearlies. Fished a few other marks we had locked in while travelling the area then pulled the pin and were back the ramp around elleven thirty. For our first venture out there we were pretty happy with our efforts . Looking forward to the next trip. PS. Have got pics of fish just have to get the missus to transfer them from camera to this topic.
