It was just one of those days were everything was perfect!!! Took the day off work,PERFECT!! The weather report was great grabbed the brother and headed to Mooloolabah,no traffic , no wait at the ramp, no shortage of parking,PERFECT!!!
Traveled to the bait spot to find a bait school covering a square kilometer and jigged 120 slimies 6 at a time in two drifts, the slimies were between 25 and 30 cms long ,PERFECT!!!
Found some new ground straight-up and proceded to catch snapper to 7kg straight away also hooked on to a big Aj just to test the new rod ,PERFECT!!!
Went to look for pearlies and found them, Perfect!!
Travelled home at 30 knots with a great feed , it doesn't get any better, in fact it wasPERFECT!!!!!!! ;)

Lucky bugger. Good day out. You have to cherish the mid week ones like that.
Can you give me any clues on where your live bait spot is. The few times I have tried to find a school, I haven't had much luck.
