Headed out to the wide 80m country off Coolum this morning and made good time getting there in 1.5 hours sitting @ 40km/hr (60km)

Fishing was slow until the sun finally showed its face and then it was all hands on deck for about a 2hour furious snapper bite. Decky's were keeping me honest and they had 2 nice snapper in the esky each before I could even scratch myself, Bastardz. I then put a nice 6.5kg snapper in the esky and they both quietened down a fair bit.

11 snapper in the box, with many under 50's thrown back, We tried to find some pearlies or tuskys. No luck.

Decided to head into a spot off Currimundi which usually hold great wads of bait and this usually attracts the pelagics. Scored several nice little cobes on plastics and river 2 sea jigs. 5 cobes later we called it a day and headed back in glassy conditions to the ramp.
