Deep Tempest late

Fished Deep Tempest Wednesday -- left Scarborough about 4:30am -- a bit sloppy across the bay due to the SWer -- same outside as well. Very slow early - tried all sorts of marks. About 2:00pm the wind dropped off and the fish came on for a while - got our bag of snapper with 7kg being the biggest -- backed it up with a few pearlies as well.

All in all a great day.

lookin good Shandos. what size sinker did you use? last time i fished out wide i was forced to use a huge snapper lead cause there was so much run in the water. were u usin a floater setup or bottom-basher

Used a 10 ball with no problem -- made good use of a para anchor to slow the drift -- this will only help with the wind induced drift but it was enough on this occasion.
