we arrived at mooloolaba harbout about 3.30pmheaded out to bait grounds slimmies were plentiful and big we got about 60 in a short time and headed out to banks.arrived at spot finding snapper coming on the chew at dusk threw pick down to settle in for the night well that was the end of the chew with only a few fish coming in during the night.Waited for the daybreak bite which did not eventuate headid out into 100mts chasing some pearlies.Picked a few pearlies up and got a few more good snapper headed for home and stopped to try and catch a few cobes Caught a few back at ramp at midday few pics and then a flat batt

well done on the cobes Pete. must be a reliable little spot you have for those - always good to have a plan B.

Shame about the evening sesh. be interesting to see if other guys report the same thing, eh.

Passed you heading up the Bruce HWY on friday arvo. The Haines is looking good with the new outboard on it. How do you go pulling her out on a slippery ramp with the van you pull it with?

Sorry I missed you on the radio Pete, I was on Ch16 all night and didn't realise. We had a hard time out wide as well, the fish were hard to get interested in feeding, it took a lot of burley to bring some in. At least the cobia played the game for you. Thats a good catch :)
