tuesday mack and tuna madness

:) I arrived at moololaba coast guard ramp at 0700 hrs tuesday headed just outside the headland . No luck baitsoaking pillies ,turned to spinning 15-35 g raiders of the back of tss4 / live fibre rlf20,no success. Decided to jig from bottom 19 metres instant hit nice spottie of around 90 cm. Dropped at side of boat due to stuffing around . Continued this method no luck ,decided to troll skirted piliie at around 6 knots ,within 5 minutes nice school mackerel 80 cm.Bait schools started busting up and it was on approx 20 nice mack tuna to 70 cm and a couple of good spotties to 95cm in about an hour. Switched to light 6lb spin gear for fun and headed back in with them still chewing there heads off and a good feed in the esky.I wish i lived at the coast sometimes......Not at work :) :) :)
