Cobia,SPOTS and Marlin on GC

[RAGINGBULL]

Launched 4.15am somewhere on gold coast.
Greeted by 40 + boats on the reef ( midweek )
Anchored up and got 2 Cobia My son got his first, a nice 8kg one, joe got a nice tailor had a few nice pulls while trolling but nothing else
The rest of the bunch got some nice big Spotties, the rig single blackhook with thin 9 pound flexible steel leader
We were fishing with livies and heavier wire so none for us.
Some-one hooked a small Marlin in the bunch which really went off, it eventually went around some-ones anchor rope.
Back at the ramp at 8am
The fish are here guys.

i was there that day seen heaps caught .. we got 5 and lost a few others..

No one will say but hey .. yes it was palmy reef. i dont' know y ppl don't say .. there is heaps of boats already.. lol whats another 50 going to do lol
