Went to Keepers Reef out of Townsville today at 4am
Slight 40cm chop heading out and headed back home at 2pm with a full esky. Glass conditions all the way back till Maggie island. Trout, cobia, lippers, macs and vallys were found in large numbers at the four spots we fished at. Its my first outing there and no waypoints were given to me prior. Simply using the sounder to find structure and fish was all that was needed. Fishing was hectic all day using vally meat, squid and mullet caught in the cast net.
