I have team “Ymer” to thank for one of the best B’day bashes I’ve had in years. Brooksy and Lee took myself and few mates out for a run off Mooloolaba on the 2nd January into what initially looked to be pretty ordinary weather. The Ymer came up with a top ride while Steve and Lee worked tirelessly all day to put us onto fish. As it turned out the billies were a little scarce but a couple of nice dollies, a wahoo and a school mackerel turned on some exciting trolling, while a few solid AJ’s gave other anglers (those not connected) some welcome breaks during the jigging sessions. At the end of the day with all crew exhausted, Steve with his eye on some more interesting country and hand on the throttle and Lee with another gar already in hand to be rigged as a fresh swim bait we called it quits on a fantastic day. Thanks to team Ymer from myself and all the guys for a truly memorable days fishing.
