Great to see , lets hope soon there will be farms for all fish types ,its the way of the future ,and needs to be done to sustain the damand of comercial and recreational fishing on our great east coast

i want to see more more incentive by the govt. to raise the levels of aquaculture in this country as we have such a large coastline a diminishing natural fishstock but our aquaculture hasn't really taken off agaisnt other countries

Aquaculture sounds great.

BUT, what are they feeding to the fish ?

There's no point in farming heaps of species if to feed them you them increase the catch of pillies, slimies etc...

Look at the penned tuna, fed on imported pillies which may have introduced the virus that decimated our pillies stocks.
