Depending where u put in, any of the islands mud,st helena
green, peel, coochie, macleay, bird have rubble and reef
structures close to them or are surrounded by it. or depending on boat and weather harrys, rous, rainbow ch
or foreshores from wello point to coochie, these all depends
on what your chasing. the mass of sandbanks top of peel
or lower in the bay pelican/banana banks these are all
southern bay locations, buy your self a copy of brownies
this will help most newcomer to this part of the world,
just a word of warning regarding the bay, it can be like a
lake one minute and get pretty rought the next especially if
s/easter get over 15kts, make it a point to login to the local
vmr/coastguard if heading into the bay regards

hi adrian
also make sure that the fuel gauge in your new boat works as I found out the hard way mine showed 1/4 left and she was bone dry . having said that a trip up to the top of morten can be interesting day out but watch the fuel on the way home as you can use double the amount coming home if the weather changes
