change of plan the olds said that we are going to Stradbroke island and we are going to rent a boat there, parents ::)
So guys any good places to rent boats on stradbroke then?

Hey Jack,
once again all the houseboats in that area can only go in the same places anyway and anywhere you rent one will allow you to run up the inside of atleast South Straddie. Sundowner are the cheapest I've found at Hope Island Marina for around $500 a week for a newish 40 footer.Used to be that price anyway and for around about the same style of boat it was $800-$1000 anywhere else.

umm luke I was actually thinking about just a normal fishing boat preferbly one that I can drive. Just to cruise round the island and find some fishing hot spots.
