I know you guys dont like giving out your spots but has anyone got some good spots for catching live bait in the bay?
I put my boat in at cleveland

http://www.ausfish.com.au/chat/images/smilies/cwm25.gifHi Adrian....Don't have any good spots but what i sometimes do is put out the berley bucket making sure its just below the surface......use chook pellets soaked in tuna oil.
This will attract hardyheads and gar fish....then its just a matter of throwing the cast net over them......tip: calm conditions are the best #for this procedure.

Hi Adrian, depending on where you fish, but if on the eastern
side of the bay Peel/rainbow ch etc. just go upRainbow ch
and sit at the mouth of any of the deeper channels that run
over the banks along Rainbow ch and jig or cast net on the
incoming, the bait fish that go into these channels will some-
times black your sounder out

Thanks guys Ill give this a go next time Im out that way.
Hopefully Ill go out not this weekend but the next.
Will be heading out to peel weather permitting.
Cant go this weekend cause Im going out on sea probe deep sea fishing.
