In reply to an approach from the Premiers Office re your email - I wish to advise that we did not receive your email on 11/4/02 on the above issue. If you wish to phone this office Desley would be happy to dicuss this matter with you. ??? well i checked the e-mail address i sent the e-mail to and its the same address this reply come from. I will be contacting the office first thing Friday morning and will keep the board informed. If I can make an appointment to see the local member would there be anyone interested in attending with me the office is in woodrige.

this run around tactic is typical of all things political. be prepared to for them to spin you sh** till your blue in the face. i'd be there but the distance and time factor are against me.

Thanks Mick,Well at least I will give it a go, nothing ventured nothing gained they say, what I would like to do if its okay with webby and if others are interested is try and get Mr Beattie into live chat so everyone can can air their views. Even just to get QFS to post some news on the board the way NSW Fisheries does would be a start.

Too far for me Jaybee but I have been to see the 4 that have an interest in the Townsville area and am following up with correspondence and copies of developments in other states such as NSW and NT closures etc.

Yeah Vern, it would be real good to get a hold of the research and findings that forced the seasonal closures, net banning, size limits and the like from other states. I am sure that the same applies here.
