There is a post on the Pakula Marlin Bar about the East Coast 200 mile economic zone fishery. AFMA is looking at locking it up for commercial use only. Vern or anyone, have you had any press releases or heard anything official about this. It will mean recreational boats and charter boats can't fish for Tuna, Marlin and Broadbill Swordfish in this area. It will be locked up for the pros and licences etc. for this fishery can be bought and sold amongst themselves.
