Hi guys
heading out to Shorncliffe jetty tonight and wanted to know, for squid is it better to jig the shallow part of the jetty (quarter way out) or right out at the end?
cheers jack
p.s leaving tonight at 6:30pm any info before then would be very much appreciated. Also any squid advice for the shorncliffe jetty i.e different jigging technique are welcome

Jack,
I fish the very end of the jetty for squid. I've tried the prawn type jigs but the old fluro, glo in the dark type seem to produce.

Hi jack ;)

Well i dont know about up there but down south we get a lot of squid and we use both prawn and fluro . If we squid out of a boat we use the jig method . On the rocks and jetties we use the same method but only a bit faster. hope that helps .
But jack u have to remember persistence pays off. :D

good luck cheers spinna 8)
