the price of live mullet

just curious why there is no live bait on the market. also wondering if it is economically viable for me to start raising them. im not talking about a full time bussiness just a back yard job for me and mates. i have experience in aquaculture(barra).

mick - where I am (mooloolaba) I wouldn't pay much as I have slimies on tap but in other areas (I'm not sure where you are from) I'm sure it's a goer

The day i have to pay for live mullet is the day ill give it all away :'( and if you were to pay, you would not pay any more than 1$ im sure

All depends on the size of the Mullet your customer wanted. I know blokes who want Mullet about 30cms long for Jewies and then again, most folk like " Poddy Mullet ".

Speaking about Mullets, have you copped an eyefull of Chris Walkers head ?
