Hi Snow, I've had a bit of success on the beach around pallaranda, go through the national park, and at the end there is a track to the right down to the beach, there are lots of big rocks there, and the fishing can be interesting, (or a waste of time) I live at Toolakea beach north of town (about 25 mins north) and the fishing can be equally good or bad here. If you want some company, give me a ring 47 886 043 or 0493 707 990 Frank

Hi Snow,

as said above, & you can also go over the next hill & continue up the beach, it's a bit of a walk (1/2 day, return trip), go on a reasonable high tide,,( 3m+) & can be productive, just strolling up the beach throwing lures onto the shallow flats,,flatties, trevs, maybe a queenie cruising around, the odd barra maybe hanging around up in the warmer shallow water. There's another little creek that doubles back behind the beach as well, worth a cast or 3.

Failing that, closer to town the rock walls past the casino & harbour always attract a good following.
