I went out today and bought some soft plasitc lures to try on the weekend. when i went home i pulled out my rods and reels to see what sort of combo i could come up with and to my suprise http://www.ausfish.com.au/chat/images/smilies/cwm19.gif i came up empty. The best that i could do was a 5 to 45gms rod.The heaviest jig head ( i think ) is 3gms.
can anyone suggest what rod & reel i can buy under the $100.00 mark to suit these lures?http://www.ausfish.com.au/chat/images/smilies/cwm45.gif

Shimano Stella seems like the rod for soft plastic in the under $100 category. Not sure about the reel though.

I suppose I could use my wifes new outfit but before I do that I'd like to know if someone has a spare room I could use when she kicks me out.
