Our boss lady Mrs Ausfish (Eileen Brown) underwent major surgery today.
Spoke with Steve just before & he reports that she is recovering fine in ICU although a little sore.
I'd like to pass on my well wishes to Eileen for a speedy recovery & a full return to health soon.
Our thoughts are with her & Steve.

Don't know eileen however i am sure all the best wishes from the board will help in a speedy recovery..as it did with me earlier this year..get well soon as i think we would all like to hear how u outfish steve.

Op went well and she is recovering well, they were going to send her back to the ward tonight but as the ICU bed wasn't needed they have decided to keep her in till the morning just to keep a closer eye on things and better manage the pain.

The hospital staff and surgeon have been fantastic. Have been fortunate to have the head of the liver transplant team perform the operation. Being an ICU nurse for 15 years has to have some benefits, I can tell you that they don't do it for the money. I don't think she ever thought that she would be on the receiving end of ICU though.

Do not know either of the Brown's apart from the web site but I join everyone else and wish a lady who looks after others a very speedy and full recovery.
