Currumbin Creek Bar

Hi Guys,

We got an impromtu leave pass onthe kids and will be going fishing in the morning. (you beauty! ;D ;) ;D)) We are looking to go out Currumbin Creek but I haven't crossed it or even looked at it for six weeks. It was very sus then and we have been going out of tweed instead. We are looking at going ot two hors before and after the 7.00 am high tide.

Has anyone crossed it lately and care to comment on the condition?

Currumbin at the moment is stuffed. Your troubles begin way before you even get anywhere near the groin. If you do make it to the groin, the tiny channel is extremely difficult to navigate.
The dredge has started in the creek, give it a few weeks & we should see a big improvment.

Tweed at the moment is no worries, as long as you cross it on an incomming tide or 1.5 before the change.
