Jacks-time & tides

gidday fellas,

just wondering what you consider the best time of day & which tides you prefer when chasing jacks around Brisbane & the Gold Coast.

Brissy I prefer a late afternoon low - the hotter the better ;D

Not fished the Gold Coast much at all.

Depends where I am fishing. Just before dark is premium time. I always used to like the last few hours of the run out, but where I have been fishing lately (flats/sandbars) the run in is the best.

Forgot to add. If you can get a 30+ degree day with a stinking big storm on the horizon you will do well. As Jack_lives_here said, "the hotter the better".

Also listen for the Cicadas.
