Good one, guys. Any attempt to repair habitat is long overdue but very welcome. I reckon that a couple of million dollars would be more realistic, though. cheers, Yoda

Shouldn't the "Media Topic" be :-

"RFL trust monies of $620,000 (so far)given to the Clarence area, a major Pro-fishery"

And further taxpayer-funded 50% subsides are available to "community groups, local councils, landholders, farmers, Rivercare and Landcare groups"

The RFL 'hollow log' , what a "MEDIA machine" beat-up!!

Was thinking the same thing myself Gazza. Wonder how much cash the commercial fishing sector is putting in to htese projects given that most of the river is open to both sectors?
