how big was she (green fish)

hi all just spent a few days fishing out near texas Qld an caught 6 cod & 2 yella's all were let go but 1 i gave to the property owner, 1 was 83cm cod & i was wondering if any 1 knows roughly how heavy it would have been.

Hi, Had a look for my length/weight chart for Murry Cod but could not find it, but I found a Barra one 83cm=6.92kg, I expect you would add a few kgs onto that for Cod though, hope someone can tell you. Good luck.

caveman, nice cod 83cms , what lure did you snare it on ??? i would guess it to be between 15 _ 18lbs depends wether it was a short fat one or a long thin one . the 53cm cod i got yesterday would have weighed as much as the 60cm i got on sunday

thx for your replys guys, i caught 1 3weeks ago and it was 68cms and went 11lbs, swano i use bass king spinner baits by kokoda single blade, i have caught over 40 yellas and not sure how many cod on them ;) i did not keep the 83cm one

Got one 90cm a while back it weighed 27 lb , it was caught in the severn .
