Thought I'd share how it went this year. Once again the Rathdowney Fishing Club put on a great weekend.
Fish numbers were down, but average weight was up so it seems to be working really well. This means a lot of breeding size carp were removed & the cycle seems to have been broken with bass eating the eggs & stopping the numbers increasing.
The racecourse camp lived up to its reputation with great entertainment Saturday night, including a lively fiddle player with grandson accompanying on spoons! It really got everyone on their feet.
The "noisy bastards" were there, complete with mower, bar & a 44 gallon bundy drum thanks to Jase.
If you have never tried carpbusting, do yourself a favour and go next year, it's the best! ;)
