Gold Coast Flathead Classic

Hi Crew

Does anyone have any information in regard to this years 'Flathead Classic' event? Dates being the most important, as I need to arrange with work and then go ask my wife if I am allowed to go.
Any info would be appreciated.

G'day MangroveJase,

This years Flathead Classic is booked in for the 25 - 27 th of September which is Thursday through to Saturday. This breakes tradition as it had been Friday to Sunday last year and Monday to Wednesday the previous few years.

I'll be there, I think our name this year will be 'Team Fishwisperer' !!!!

Thanks heaps guys for the info! Where do you register etc? Can't wait for this comp..........chasin flathead during the day and white pointers of a night........just what a man needs.

The Comp is run by the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club. Either contact the Club direct or keep an eye on the local fishing Mags for details. I don't know there phone number off the top of my head.

Not many white pointers around the competition compound, you may have to head up to Surfers for that Target Species ;D
