gday
i live at coutts and some of the spots to try for jew are the breakwall at iluka, the harwood bridge, and around browns rocks. at all these places live herring would be number 1 bait. for the crabs any little creek will have a population of muddies. and at the right time of year blue swimmers. for the flathead try around the broadwater and the breakwalls and dropoffs around yamba and iluka.

thanks phil

knew about the wall, browns and the broad.
need the secrets ill give you a few.

http://www.ausfish.com.au/chat/images/smilies/cwm1.gifon the ilarwill side of the broadwater there is a boat ramp owned by the local fishos because the council wont pay for it so dont abuse the ramp. on a dark night on top of the high tide falling, drift along 5-10 meters off the bank (start 300m on grafton side to 150m on maclean side drift and do it again. any bait or rubber lures with glow balls will do .
fish while your got your dillies in few muddies around maybe
