Has anyone noticed the new ramp that has been constructed at Cleveland. I went down and had a look on Saturday, and I must say that it looks OK. Problems are 1. The ramp into the water seems to be very steep. 2.They have constructed a 2 lane ramp with nowhere to put the boat either when it's been put in the water or when you are taking it out of the water. ie At Raby Bay you have a small beach area on either side of the ramp. 3. At the moment there is the Stradbroke vehicular barge, 2 pasenger services and by the looks of it there are two more passenger/vehicular ramps under construction. As anyone who has used this channel would know, the channel is very narrow. Short of traffic lights at both ends it will be interesting to see what eventuates when things get moving.
4. On a plus note there is plenty of parking for trailers.
