This may sound like a dumb question but when during the Moon cycle do the tides run the slowest? ??? ???

I am have planned a trip on a houseboat down at the Pin from the 6th to the 9th June and i am wondering how fast the tide will be running on these dates.

Cheers,

Dominator.

Half the year the biggest tides are on the new moon - the other half they are on the full moon.
June 6 - 30% daylight hours / 50% tidal flow at night.
Solunar peaks 4.22am & 4.52pm on the 6th - increase about 50 min a day.
Night tides will stay about the same tidal flow but daylight tides will increase slightly every day to about 50% on the 9th.
You'll be there about a week before the full moon.

Thanks for the reply Nugget. ;)

So if I am reading that right the day tides are slower than the night ones for that time of the year.

Cheers,

Dominator.

Yes, that's right.
I can print you out a graph of that time period if you like.
Just let me know.
