Moses Perch..

Morning All,
Spent a few hours at the rock wall out from Boggy creek last night, and happened to catch 4 Moses Perch. 3 to about 21 cm and one came in at 28cm. Have been fishing there for years and never caught one before(moses perch that is)..!! Is that a surprise catch in the river?? Also what is the legal size for these guys??? I released the 3 little guys, but I did keep the 28 cm fella.. Is that a NO NO???
Ended up with a great feed of bream on mullet, they are on down there..

Hi Benno,
They hang around the container terminal under the wharfs and also around the tug terminal, so not susprising there over at the wall.
The river fairlly clean down the bottom end now, so a few more species straying into the river.
Good to see theres some legal ones amongst them, usually all undersize.
And the bream are in early with all this rain and cold snap.
Ques any squire around the wall the night you were there.

some nice squire have also been caught off crab creek lately, instead of the intended soapies :-X
