Hi Adrian – it was good to catch up with you at the comp.

For those wondering what Adrian is talking about; two young blokes turned up after the close of the weigh in with a 1.8 and 1.9kg bream (they were whole fish weights, not gutted and gilled like entry fish).

They said they had run out of petrol on the way to the weigh in.
Unfortunately they were too late - I did announce several times leading up to the close how many minutes were left before close of weigh in.
It's a shame but rules are rules and we couldn't break the rules for them or anyone else.

I gave them a handful of consolation prizes - best I could do under the circumstances.
